Sign-up for the "2017 Farloft's Friends Selfie!" (formerly Farloft's Dragon Selfie)

Kitsooki, our marvelous artist from the 2015 and 2016 Farloft Dragon Selfies, has agreed to take the plunge yet again for 2017. She has been working hard and learned some truly incredible skills in the last year. You can see the style she is going to use for this year’s picture in the pinned tweet on her Twitter profile. I know it is going to be super.

Here is what you need to know this year to join in:


Deadline is December 15, 2016

Limit of forty (40) dragons in the selfie (We don’t want Kits computer to crash... or her. LOL)

Cost will be $40-$50 dollars each, depending on the complexity of your character.

Email your Twitter handle (screen name) and reference sheet to Kitsooki1@gmail.com

Kits will determine the complexity of your character and then email you an invoice to be paid via PayPal.

All payment must be in by December 15th.

Entry is not limited to dragons only. We have had Gryphon and Dragon Hybrids in the past.

The piece will be completed by January 15, 2017, and distributed.

Farloft will release it January 16, 2017 for ‘Appreciate a Dragon Day’ and his birthday. 

Once it is posted at 8:00 am PST you may post your copies.

Sketches and line drawings will be okayed by me unless Kits needs clarification from you about your character. (We want it to be a fun surprise for all of you.)

**And for your interest, the funds are also earmarked for a good cause this year. Roxie, Kitsooki’s beloved dog, needs surgery to repair a torn ACL in her right leg. This requires an implant and a bone shaving. Not a fun procedure, but it will improve her quality of life considerably.
